A brief history of Carolynn's racing career so far...
2007 - Racing for the Martin Bullock Raceteam
Andreas Racing Association - Jurby 4hr Endurance, Jurby Airfield, IOM
Carolynn and her Partner Roger Maher come 2nd in the 600 class and fourth overall.
Originally credited with the 600cc class win and 3rd overall, controversy surrounding the transponder system is investigated, and they are disappointingly relagated back one place.
Manx Grand Prix - TT Course, IOM
Junior MGP - 34th
Ultralightweight MGP - DNF
Carolynn is fourth quickest in practice on the 400 with a lap of 105.536mph and has her quickest practice lap on the 600 and goes into both races confident. In the Junior race she equals her best 600cc race lap time with her standing start lap, but unfortunately, tyre problems mean she gets a few big slides on laps two and three, which knocks her confidence and then, in the 400cc Ultralightweight, a silly unpredictable problem with the fuel pump causes the machine to be starved of fuel twice, forcing retirement at Sulby Bridge on lap one.

In doing so, she lapped at 2m 39.882s, knocking 13s of her fastest practice time and was the fastest out of five lady solo competitors at the meeting.

Support 400 race- 4th
Carolynn finished a credible 4th on her debut at the fast and technical road circuit. Unfortunately, she crashed heavily out of race 2, sustaining a fractured left elbow and tearing muscles in her right shoulder, putting her out of action for almost three months.
Carolynn also raced at short circuits, plus Skerries, R.O.I
2004 - Racing for the Martin Bullock Raceteam
Killalane, Skerries, Dublin, Ireland.
Support 400 race- 7th
Carolynn finished 7th on her debut at the road circuit after a battle on the road with Duncan Baille meant she out braked herself at paddock corner and overshot, she managed to stay on the road but lost out to 6th place and some prize money by just half a second!
Manx Grand Prix, TT course, IOM.
Ultralightweight MGP- 8th
Carolynn became the first female competitor ever to finish in the top 10 of a 'main race' (i.e not including the Newcomers races) in the history of the Manx Grand Prix and in only her 2nd year of competing in the event. With lap times of lap 1- 102.04, Lap 2- 103.08, lap 3- 101.00 and a final lap of 103.99, not bad for a machine putting out no more than 66bhp. There were 53 finishers in this race.
Junior MGP- 60th
In her first ever race anywhere on a 600 machine, Carolynn started with a standing-start lap time of 108.71mph, a 6mph leap up from her practice times and making her the 2nd fastest female ever at the MGP and 4th ever on the TT course, she followed that with a 2nd lap of 108.27 putting her in 45th position at the end of lap two, a rather unsuccessful pit stop which lost her over a minute put her lap 3 speed down to 101.96 and put her back down to 57th, a last lap of 106.73 failed to improve her position but she was very pleased with her opening two laps and ended the race philosophical. There were 90 finishers in this race.
Steampacket Races, Billown, Castletown, IOM.
125/400 race- 7th
Carolynn's debut on the Billown Circuit in Castletown, IOM.

125/400 race- 6th
NW200, Portrush, N.I.
400 race- 18th
Carolynn's debut at the NW200 didn't go to plan, after a series of mechanical problems in practice plus the dreadful weather meaning practices were cut short due to rain mid-session, she qualified 18th. A good start in the race pushed her from 18th on the grid to 14th on the road but after overshooting twice, ended the race 18th.
2003
Manx Grand Prix, TT course, IOM - Racing for the Martin Bullock Raceteam
Carolynn is asked to represent team MBR and is the winner of the 'Lesley-Anne Trophy' for the best performance by a female at the MGP 2003 and also the 'Les Williams Memorial Trophy' for the best performance by a newcomer from the North West.
Newcomers class C- 4th
Carolynn's finishes fourth in her debut on the TT course, achieving a lifelong ambition to compete on the course and, in the meantime, becomes the highest ever female finisher in the history of the MGP or TT. With a fastest lap of 99.70mph and her 2nd fastest at 99.65mph, Carolynn just missed out on the 100mph lap and rostrum finish she had hoped for, but there was still the Ultralightweight race on the Friday to come...
Ultralighweight- 23rd
Carolynn finishes 23rd out of some 50 finishers in her first 'main race' on the IOM TT course, lying 30th at the end of lap1 Carolynn put in a couple of faster laps and pushes herself up to 23rd, her fastest lap being 101mph. A fuel dispute with one of the riders gets him disqaulified and pushes her up to 22nd, the dispute is later resolved and the final outcome is 23rd. Carolynn is awarded the 'Lesley-Anne Trophy' for the most meritous performance by a female competitor in the event by the MMCC, she is also later awarded, at the ACU district awards, the 'Les Williams Memorial Trophy' by Les' family for the best perfomance by a newcomer from the North West at the MGP.
Jurby Road, Jurby South, IOM
125/400 race- 6th
Carolynn's debut at the Jurby road race is also her debut in 'real road racing' in preparation for her debut at the Manx Grand Prix later in the year and she loves it! The narrow and bumpy circuit gives her a real taste for the roads and this is the direction she goes in from now on.
